This is a vinyl record design of Kelly Clarkson’s tenth studio album [Chemistry], the deluxe version. The deluxe version was only released on CD, so I took this chance to redesign what I would envision her deluxe record to be. The concept behind this design was to have a translucent sleeve that went over the vinyl that transformed the cover into something new, just like chemistry, combining two images into one.
Process
Test prints, test prints, test prints! Figuring out how translucent the sleeve needed to be for the perfect effect took multiple attempts.
