Packaging Intent
I wanted the unpackaging experience to feel like opening the door from a cozy cottage to see the view outside. The sleeve served as the interior of the cottage with a window to see the view outside. Once removed, one would be greeted with a sprawling illustrative landscape that varied depending on the flavor. Both illustrations were done as to create a seamless pattern that could “loop” endlessly.
A chocolate bar meant to sit
at a gourmet, luxurious cafe.
Process
From the beginning I was interested in reveals and sleeves. I wanted it to be a chocolate bar that also served as a postcard-esque promise of adventure. We switched from the typical bar shape to a pentagon, and made the bar slimmer to reflect the semiotics of a house and a more luxurious brand. I built out every version and made notes accordingly.
